Review of VooPoo Drag X
There are two versions of the Drag from VooPoo; the smaller Drag S and a larger Drag X. These two devices vary significantly. The Drag S features a draw-activated system, a maximum output of 60w, and a built-in 2500mAh battery. The Drag X, on the other hand, is a variable wattage device that has an 80W maximum output and is powered by a rechargeable 18650 battery (not included). Also, it is not draw-activated. The VooPoo Drag X has a big round-fire button on the front, a huge color display.
Quick charging isn’t a major issue for me, the reason is I have plenty of batteries. The removable 18650 battery on the VooPoo Drag X makes it perfect for me. The device comes with a USB-C charger. The USB port is located at the bottom of the system.
Navigating device menu
You can turn on the VooPoo Drag X by clicking the fire button five times in quick succession. You can switch between the two modes. The smart mode allows the device to read the resistance of any PnP coil-head and automatically change its power accordingly.
Pressing the fire button and + button simultaneously locks both keys, pressing a fire button and the – key clears the puff counter. Pressing + and – will get you into the puff control area. You can track your daily puff numbers for up to 14 days.
The VooPoo Drag X Pod System Kit available for $35.99 at Vapor Empire. This is a real bargain for the price. I love the leather finish on the device. It gives the device an appealing appearance, and will make you want to take a second look.
Please be aware, in the case of Li-ion (Lithium-ion), LiPo (Lithium-ion Polymer), and other rechargeable cells, that they are extremely sensitive to charging properties and can burst or burn if misuse. Place your batteries on a clean, fire-resistant surface always. Do not leave the batteries unattended for a long time. Make sure the rechargeable cells are always stored and transported in a dry, non-conductive container.
